The North Sea
This seascape captures the spirit of the Northumberland shore — the deep blues, the relentless waves, and the brooding rocks — a place where beauty and desolation coexist in quiet power.

Splash
The Northumberland coast line is wild and beautiful but some beaches are golden and rich in warm, enlightening colours. This abstract seascape is a sharing of the joy I found in this watery wilderness.

Hawthorn Meadow
Inspired by my walks through the Dales, these pair of hawthorn trees nestled in the rocky landscape made me want to capture their gnarled trunks and branches in juxtaposition against their delicate white blossom and the tree landscape.

Silver Veil
I am continually in awe of the waterfalls around us and the peace they bring to our hearts. This is a semi-abstract painting of water emerging through dense green leaves and rushing down to the river below.

Awakening City
Even though I now reside in country, the city girl in me never left. I am always inspired by the layers of history of London and the bustling of this thriving city.

Drifted
A semi-abstract seascape inspired by the sandy shores of Northumberland. That particular day bought in a colourful mix of driftwood, seaweed and old fishing nets. These are the memories the ocean carries.

Land of Lilac and Wind
Curbar Edge.
I will always be drawn to the beauty of the Peak District. There is nothing quite like reaching the cliff tops strewn with purple heather and being in awe of how the endless landscape meets the sky.

30cm x 30cm
Oil on canvas, framed.

Moorland Path
The North York Moors have a rugged beauty that stretches beyond the horizon and the paths which guide you there are occasionally accented by hawthorn trees, each having a story of their own past to tell.

Wild Autumn
Inspired by my walks in Scotland, the mountains' rusty tones, misty skies and pale waters carry a raw poetry that forces you to pause and reflect.
